The last few days of Ramadhan were magical, even though it wasn't as good as the last. The Imam Teraweeh, muezzin and everyone else really bonded with one another. There were times the Imam Teraweeh would give us nuggets of advice and we'd feel emotional.
If you have the money to invest, don't put it in the dunya.I hate seeing them go. But some things... are just not in our control.
Step 1: Look at your family. If there's anyone in your family who's not schooling, not enough books, not covering up, get them clothes and books. Anything that is not sufficient, try to cover up using the money.
Step 2: Look at your relatives: Apply Step 1.
Step 3: Look at your neighbours. Apply Step 1 and 2
Step 3: Look at your community. Apply Step 1, 2 and 3. If you think, there is a need to erect a mosque or a school, go ahead. The community will be grateful for your services.
When the dirt (grave) covers you, it covers you alone, not your Mercedes, not your mansion, not your branded stuff.
Ust Ahmad: *Hugs me tight from behind* I pity these slaves of Allah.May Allah forgive and grant them and their families the highest level of paradise. And may Allah reunite us in the next Ramadhan and lead the Teraweeh again. Ameen.
Me: Why?
Ust Ahmad: Always get scolded by me. But it's okay, I know you guys don't mind
Ust Aziz: Who?
Ust Ahmad: Sufyan and Fairuz.
